By BDTI, 4/25/2006 Today BDTI released the first independent benchmark results for the Texas Instruments C55x+ processor core. BDTI found that the C55x+ is about 2.5 times faster than its predecessor, the C55x.

| Morpho, picoChip Introduce Reconfigurable Solutions for Wireless |
By BDTI, 4/25/2006 Morpho Technologies and picoChip both recently introduced solutions targeting WiMAX applications. There are some interesting similarities between the offerings. For example, both solutions are based on reconfigurable processors, and both companies offer off-the-shelf WiMAX software.
